My biggest caveat? It is funny-shaped and doesn't pack well. Value: If you don't need or want Pro Tools, there are many other less-expensive products in this category. The Focusrite preamps are nice, but the competitors' preamps are probably just as good.
Pro Tools LE is OK, as a scaled-down version of the TDM software, but compared to Logic, PTLE is not that great. The Mbox needs to be plugged in to open Pro Tools. Oftentimes I need to edit music out in the field, and can't always carry the Mbox with me. That's one of many reasons why I prefer Logic.
